Initial Diagnostic Assessment:

Adults: $350 / 50 minutes

A comprehensive psychiatric evaluation for patient’s across the lifespan starting from 8 years of age. The goal is to identify presenting problems, symptoms and develop a patient centered realistic treatment plan. Depending on time constraints, we may need additional follow-up visits (billed separately at below rates) before initiating medication treatment.

Children and Adolescents (<18): $600 / 80 minutes

For children and adolescents, the first visit is roughly 80 minutes (time with the doctor split equally between the parent(s) and the child/adolescent). Often if your child is new to psychiatric treatment we will need a feedback visit (billed separately at below rates) to discuss diagnostic impressions and treatment recommendations. This intake fee includes any necessary collateral contacts, school forms, etc.

Follow up Appointments

Medication Management

$250 / 25 minutes

This is the most common type of follow up visit in our practice; commonly once monthly to start.

Individual Therapy +/- Medication Management

$400 / 50 minutes

For individuals interested in therapy, Dr. Masolak has training in multiple modalities. He generally prefers to do time-limited therapy (ie 8-16 treatment sessions, with boosters as needed) to accomplish specific goals, rather than perpetual therapy. Individuals engaged in therapy can also be seen for medication management as part of these sessions.
